It’s a Friday and you know what is meant to come your way! Another dish by the established Chef who creates nothing but enthralling dishes: Chef Linda.
Today, he created his amazing dish which he calls Hungover Macaroni and Cheese dish that will leave you begging for more! Now, how do you master this rather enthralling dish? Well, here are the ingredients that you will need:
Macaroni (any of your choice)
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 cup cream
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
2 cups cheddar cheese.
1⁄2 cup breadcrumbs, buttered
Ingredients sorted? Perfect! You are halfway to creating your own macaroni and cheese dish. Here is how you prepare it:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Cook and drain macaroni according to package directions,( set aside.)
In a large pot, melt the butter.
Add flour mixed with salt and pepper, using a whisk to stir until well blended.
Pour milk and cream in gradually; stirring.
Bring to boiling point and boil (stirring constantly).
Reduce heat and cook (stirring constantly)
Add shredded cheddar little by little and let cook, or until cheese melts.
Take pot of the heat
Add macaroni to the pot and toss to coat with the cheese sauce.
Transfer macaroni to a buttered baking dish.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Bake 20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
(You can also freeze this recipe for later use – once you have mixed the macaroni along with the cheese sauce allow to cool to room temperature before adding to your freezer.)
