Fashionable Food Friday: Whole-Grain Spaghetti With Kale And Tomatoes

Don’t know what to cook for the family this evening? Or rather, having some friends over and you do not what to prepare for them? Well, you do not have to worry as Chef Linda has got you sorted out with another enthralling dish that will leave your guests asking for more!

So, first things, first – your ingredients list is as follows:


2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium red onion, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, chopped

kosher salt and black pepper

1 bunch kale, thick stems removed and leaves torn into bite-size pieces (about 8 cups)

2 grape tomatoes, halved

1/3 cups chopped roasted almonds

1/4 cups grated pecorino, plus more for serving


Ingredients, sorted? Good, now this is how you will prepare it:

Firstly, cook the pasta according to the package directions. and reserve ¼ cup of the cooking water; drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ⅛ teaspoon pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beginning to brown for 4 to 5 minutes.
