Fashionable Food Friday: Baked Bean Bolognese

You know what day it is – Friday and it means that Chef Linda has nothing but the best of the best to send your taste buds on a rollercoaster ride!

I am sure, you sure you are dying to create this tantalizing dish! Here is the ingredients list to this beautiful dish:

Ingredients are as follows:

15ml Sunflower Oil

1 Onion, finely chopped

250g Lean Beef Mince

1 Sachet Savoury Mince Dry, Cook-In-Sauce

400ml Water

1 Tin Baked Beans

5ml Italian Herbs

300g Macaroni, Cooked and Drained

Cheddar Cheese, Grated

 

I reckon that all of your ingredients are sorted out, yes? Now, time to prepare (I can already hear your tummy growling):

Preparation: 

Preheat oven at 180 degrees celcius.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion until soft.

Add the beef mince and fry until well-browned.

Stir in the Savoury Mince Dry Cook-In-Sauce sachet and add contents together with water , baked beans and Italian herbs.

Allow to simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, then toss with cooked macaroni and transfer to an ovenproof casserole dish.

Top with desired amount of grated Cheddar cheese and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees celcius for 10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese has melted.
